S# 335834. Receiver manufactured in 1907. Receiver is marked on top with "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / MODEL 1903". Receiver is equipped with Model 1903-A3 bolt assembly. Bolt is marked "R4" on top. Trigger assembly with narrow smooth trigger, cutoff assembly and Guard screws are present. CONDITION: receiver has the remains of a matte black finish with thinning and moderate wear. Bolt retains 50% of its wartime black parkerized finish with moderate wear. (25-2973/RW). MODERN. $100-200.
